About Us

We are a church scouts team established in 2015. We are a service that implements our church teachings into applicable ways for the children to be able to live their life like our Lord Jesus Christ did. We teach the kids through weekly meetings, fun days, camps and retreats where all the kids get involved in different activities that teach them different virtues.

We strive to teach children our 12 scout laws, which are:

A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

We aim to teach those virtues through fun activities and applications. We teach them skills that they can use to serve at younger ages as well as to survive outdoors.

Our number one goal is to teach kids about commitment, whether in life, service or anything else. That is by teaching them to have good communication skills with their team members and their leaders. We keep an eye on each new member and their commitment, because if there no potential of providing commitment to the service, warnings are given, and sometimes can reach to a dismissal form. There is more to scouts, but this is just a brief introduction of what we do.

Who We Serve

Our service includes Kids/Youth finishing Grades 3 – Grade 8. However, the kids in grade 8 will continue with us until they become servants/leaders in the scout team.

We also provide a condensed course for grade 10 and up for whoever was not in scouts before and would like to be a part of the team. After this group finishes the course, they are asked to start helping out in the service.

Meeting Times

Our meetings are every Saturday between 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM during summers, and every other week same time during school months. We usually spend half of the time in the gym and the rest in the church rooms, unless we have an activity, or the weather permits we take them to the park.
