After you setup a recurring donation, you’ll be charged for the first payment. You can cancel the recurring donation at anytime, however, you will not be reimbursed for the first payment. Please see below on how to cancel a recurring donation.
Yes. If you don't have a PayPal account, you'll be prompted to set one up. It's quick and easy. Afterward, you can always login to your account to view or cancel your recurring donation.
You can setup your recurring donation to be monthly or weekly.
The payments begin the day you create and approve the subscription and it will continue monthly or weekly as you configure.
At the time you setup your recurring donation, you can specify how many payments you want. The payments will stop automatically after that. There is an option in the setup though to keep the recurring donations running forever until you manually cancel it.
You’ll receive an email from PayPal after each charge.
A tax receipt will be mailed to your address after the end of the year with all your accumulated donations.
You can cancel the recurring donation you created and recreate a new one. Cancelling the subscription will stop any future payments but you’ll not get refunds for the amounts that already paid prior to cancellation. Please see below on how to cancel the recurring donation.
We used a feature by PayPal called “Payment Subscription” to setup a recurring donation. You’ll not find the term “recurring donation” in PayPal.
