We thank our Lord Jesus Christ and H.H. Pope Tawadros II for granting us H.G. Bishop Mina on the diocese of Mississauga to Vancouver.

, Ottawa – On May 29, 2013, His Grace Bishop Mina, Canada’s first Coptic Bishop, visited Ottawa to meet with the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada.
Bishop Mina also met with the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney, other Parliamentarians, as well as Canada’s Ambassador for Religious Freedom, Dr. Andrew Bennett.
On April 7, 2013, Bishop Mina formally became Canada’s first Coptic Bishop, with responsibilities for the dioceses of Mississauga and Vancouver.
Prime Minister Harper posted a picture of himself with the Bishop on Facebook.
He also tweeted a photo from the meeting.
